We’re SO pumped to announce our Tiny Kitchen Spotlight Member for April: The One And Only Katie Beckwith!!!

See my video interview to meet Katie and learn more about her!

She’s a gem – since the moment she joined Tiny Kitchen she has jumped in with open arms. She’s made more of our recipes, posted them all on social media, and shared with friends. She’s a delight to cook with and I know our members are thrilled to see her face pop-up on the Zoom. Thanks for being such a stellar member, Katie!

I interviewed Katie, get to know her here:

Where do you live?
San Mateo, CA

How often do you cook?
Before Tiny Kitchen, I would typically meal prep on the weekend. Now, I enjoy cooking a few times during the week when my schedule allows.

Do you have a partner? Family? Do tell!
The Beckwith crew includes my husband, Ava (2.5 years), and Teague (four months). It’s definitely a fun and crazy house these days.

Why did you decide to join Tiny Kitchen?
My husband gifted me a class for my birthday. I quickly fell in love, not only with the classes, but with the delicious products! It has become a part of my self-care routine postpartum. I have had family join from across the country and it’s a great way to spend time with them during the week.

Plus, Anja is the best – an amazing chef, knowledgeable, flexible, and fun! I have celiac, and she makes sure that all the recipes can be made gluten-free with a healthy twist (gluten-free pizza, focaccia, pasta etc… gluten-free dreams do come true!)

What was your life like before Tiny Kitchen, and what is it like now that you’ve taken a few classes?
Prior to Tiny Kitchen, I self-identified as a baker and was very hesitant about cooking. Since joining, I feel more confident and creative in the kitchen. I enjoy the art and process of cooking so much more!

Is there anything you would like to tell your friends, family etc. about our Tiny Kitchen classes and community?
Join! It’s such a great way to learn to cook and have a delicious meal. I love the opportunity to connect with other people and learn so much during each class. It’s approachable, fun, and a highlight of my week.

You’re a rockstar Katie! I look forward to making tons more delicious, beautiful and gluten-free meals with you!
