- 1/4 oz Thai chili syrup (or to taste)**
- Tonic water
- Thai basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions:

- Fill the shaker with ice and shake until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice.
- Top the glass with tonic water and stir gently.

*(Make a simple syrup by combining 1 oz. honey and 1 oz. water in a saucepan and simmer until dissolved. Save the rest for your next cocktails!)
**To make the Thai chili syrup, combine equal parts water and honey (or coconut sugar for a darker looking syrup) in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add 1+ sliced Thai chilies to taste and simmer for 5-10 minutes, then strain and cool before using.
