Classes range between 60-90 minutes. This gives ample time for everyone to get their questions answered and end with a successful meal. We surveyed all of our current members and they unanimously voted that it's the perfect amount of time.
How long do classes typically last?
No way! We expect you to have a life outside of the club. The schedule varies in hopes that everyone will find at least 1 class per month that fits their schedule, and those who are able to attend get a more intimate experience. We have all classes on video, so if you miss class, you can always check it out.
Are you required to attend every class?
After surveying our members, we found that weekdays between 4-7pm PST is the sweet spot. For our East Coasters, we host at least 1 class per month starting around 3-5pm EST in hopes that this fits their schedule. We are always open to suggestions!
When do you typically host classes?
ABSOLUTELY. Chef Anja Lee is gluten-free and mostly dairy-free, so she can relate! Most of our recipes are vegetable-forward and will work for a vegan or vegetarian. There is always a gluten-free option. Health means happy bodies, which is our priority!
I'm vegan (or gluten-free, or dairy-free), do you have recipes for me?
The Chef keeps an an eye on everyones' zoom videos in class to make sure that everyone's questions are answered and that everyone is keeping up. You will, guaranteed, get to know the Chef and your classmates well (if you want to)!
How directly do we get to work with the Chef?
Gratitude: You will be overwhelmed with all of the appreciation you receive from your family and friends, and they will be grateful for the delicious meals you cooked for them.
Confident: The expertise and experience of Tiny Kitchen instructors will alleviate fears of failure in cooking a meal for friends or family. Cooking alongside our professional chefs will allow you to get all questions answered (unlike a cookbook).
Relief: Your meal planning will be easy and healthy - no need to stress about what to shop for and what will make you feel good. Our shopping lists include nutritious recipes including gluten-free, vegan and no refined sugar options.
Excitement for your weekly meals: We've curated our favorite recipes for you to learn and enjoy, easily and quickly on a weeknight! These are recipes we're genuinely excited to cook, too!
let's COOK together
Chef Anja Lee's love for cooking started at the age of 10 when she began preparing dinner for her family. She then worked with a local catering company in Tahoe City, CA, where she found inspiration from the beautiful women she worked with.
At 16, she discovered the importance of eating healthy and how it made her feel. Since then, she has made it her mission to bring people together with delicious food made from high-quality ingredients and share her passion for healthy eating with others.
All of this has become a lifelong journey to learn, grow, and share with others.
