What screams nostalgia, comfort, and family time during the holidays more than a warm pan of cinnamon rolls? I can just smell Mom’s house when I think about tasting these.
Over the past few months, we have had an increased demand for breakfast cooking classes, and I knew right away which recipe our teams would love most. So we put our recipe testing skills to work and came up with a quick-cook version that is full of quality, nutritious ingredients that also taste great.
I am so excited to introduce our newest virtual class: Cinnamon Rolls with Honey Yogurt Icing!
A cinnamon roll you can make on a weekday morning
As a professional chef living in France and California, I love cooking healthy food that still feels like a treat. Classic cinnamon rolls usually call for yeast, hours of rising, and a whole morning of waiting. Our version skips the long rise, so in less than one hour, your whole team will be pulling fluffy rolls out of the oven, with the whole house smelling like sweet cinnamon.

You start by rolling out a soft dough, covering it with a generous layer of cinnamon sugar, and rolling it up into a spiral. Parchment paper does most of the work here, so even first-time bakers get a beautiful, tight roll.
From spiral to golden in the oven
Next, you slice the log into rolls and nestle them together in a baking dish. I walk everyone through each step live, so your team can ask questions, compare spirals, and cheer each other on along the way.

While the rolls bake, we whisk together the icing. When you open your oven, you are greeted with golden, cinnamon-swirled rolls that look like they came straight from a bakery.

A protein-rich honey yogurt icing
To finish, everyone glazes their rolls with a protein-rich honey yogurt icing. The icing is creamy, lightly sweet, and gives your breakfast a little more nutritious strength than a classic sugar glaze. You’ll enjoy your breakfast, and feel great after eating it, too! Perfect for teams to be energized for the workday ahead.

Love peanut butter? We have a version for you!
For the peanut butter lovers on your team, we also offer an optional peanut butter version. The nutty, salty-sweet icing pairs perfectly with the warm cinnamon, and teams can choose whichever version sounds tastiest.

Why your team should bake together in the months ahead
The holiday season is when teams want to slow down, celebrate the year, and connect beyond meetings and deadlines. A cinnamon roll class gives everyone a cozy, shared moment, even when your team is spread across cities and time zones.
Here is what makes a breakfast class such a great fit for the months ahead:
- It starts the day on a high note: A morning class gives your team a warm, energizing kickoff, and everyone gets to enjoy breakfast together on Zoom.
- Everyone takes home a skill: Your team learns a recipe they can make to feed their families on weekends, prep for holiday breakfasts, or simply enjoy on their own because it is delicious. They can also include their family during this class, too!
- It is easy for every skill level: With no yeast and no long rise, first-time bakers and experienced home cooks can both succeed.
- It creates a shared team memory: There is something special about a whole team pulling rolls out of the oven at the same time and seeing everyone’s creations on screen.
- It celebrates the season: Cinnamon, honey, and warm baked goods feel like the holidays, which makes the class a natural fit for an end-of-year celebration or a festive start to the new year.
